Our Mission

 

Portola Valley ChangeMakers believe that even though we are young, we can make a difference in the causes we care about. We raise money for Mercado Global because we know that every dollar we raise makes a real difference for the women in Guatemala.

Mercado Global 

Mercado Global is a non-profit organization that is based in Guatemala.  This cause helps to empower women in Guatemala, which helps put their children in schools and break the cycle of poverty.  The women weave beautiful bags with native designs which are sold by retailers around the world.  To learn more go to:
